As an interesting aside, Best Buy will begin selling electric mopeds, scooters, Segways and motorcycles beginning this summer in several stores in California. It’s an interesting move by a company that likes to try to play ahead of the curve, and honestly, it’s a move that makes a certain amount of sense. People want affordable green solutions, and that doesn’t just mean cars. It could be in three to five years we see these in every urban household. Though I’d say as of yet, it’s still more of a niche market. I’m especially interested to learn how this trend plays out in China.
